Fur free roasted chestnuts

Sitting at home in a cozy warm atmosphere, and sipping on some hot tea. The first thing that comes to my mind is some freshly roasted chestnuts. However, thinking of the hastle of pealing them is a headache itself. But the good news is, there is an easy way to do that using a very simple method.

Follow the method below and learn the best way to roast chestnuts and make sure the skin peals off easily.

– Make a slit at the top of each one

– Boil for 10 mins

– Grill in the oven for another 10-15 mins

– Remove and automatically wrap them in kitchen cloth

– The dampness of the towel is what causes the skin to peal off very easily

– You will have a furless chestnut in a second

Essential tip:

For your efforts to be worthwhile, always get the best ingredients in season from local markets.

Bon appetit
