“Of life’s two chief prizes, beauty and truth, I found the first in a loving heart and the second in a laborer’s hand.” Gibran Khalil Gibran
I arrived to Amioun, North of Lebanon, to prune the garden, there was plenty of sunshine and the sky was blue. It was just the right mood and weather for accomplishing the job. The gardener and his children each have a part to do. The gardener carries out the heavy chores while the kids and I gather small fallen sticks from the ground and give out cold juice when it is time for a break. Throughout the years of undergoing this exercise, I learned that working together in a team, with good spirits, and where each talent is utilized properly, yields excellent results. After the pruning, we will be adding the organic fertilizers and transferring plants, that were planted last year, from the pots to the soil. (this was mentioned in the pruning tip in the tips section of the blog). We always work with plenty of happiness and positive vibes, absorbing good energy from nature; once your hands are in contact with the soil you automatically feed your soul with positive energy. Looking forward to the coming spring as we are promised a great one after this heavy, rainy winter.
